The Spring

The SpringThroughout September, Music Showcase is collecting personal hygiene items for The Spring. Items needed are shampoo and conditioner, toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorants, hair brushes and combs, soap, hand and body lotions, hand sanitizer, etc.

The Spring is Hillsborough County’s only certified domestic violence prevention and emergency shelter agency. It provides sanctuary and services to more than 50,000 abused adults and their children.

Anyone who makes a donation will receive $0.25 in Music Showcase Money per item donated which can be redeemed towards purchase in the store.

For each item you donate at Music Showcase, you will receive 25 cents in Music Showcase Money. This is our way of thanking you for helping to support our community.

Music Showcase Money can be used to purchase items in our store only. Lesson, rental, and layaway payments cannot be made with Music Showcase Money.

Life Care Pregnancy Center

Music Showcase is partnered with Brandon Care Pregnancy Center, now known as Life Care. We attended their Oct. 2nd fundraiser which featured a performance by Steve Green.

Center Place Chalk Walk for Kids

Music Showcase co-sponsored the first sidewalk "Love of the Arts" Chalk Walk on Sunday, February 11, 2008 at the Center Place in Brandon. Check out the links below for more info.

World Vision

Frodilite Kisalu KoyiWorld Vision World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

World Vision was founded in 1950 by Dr. Bob Pierce to help children orphaned in the Korean War. Their child sponsorship program started in 1953, and by the 1960's, their efforts were expanding globally. World Vision began incorporating vocational and agricultural training for families into its sponsorship efforts in the 1970's to help strengthen communities.

Mayeso KakhobweIn the 80's and 90's, World Vision focused on two major events: the famine in Ethiopia and the AIDS pandemic in Uganda. By 2006, nearly 399,000 orphans and vulnerable children had been sponsored in AIDS-affected communities.
