What forms of payments do you accept for store purchases?

We accept cash, checks, debit bank cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express in our store.

If I do not see a particular instrument brand in your store, will you order it for me?

Yes, depending on the instrument or brand availability from manufacturer, a special order usually takes 7-10 days. If the item is on back order, we will get it for you as soon as it becomes available.

Will you ship sold merchandise?

Yes, we ship anything, anywhere in the U.S. for our customers. We usually use UPS. However, other options may be available.

Do you sell gift certificates?

We sell gift certificates in any denomination, and there is never an expiration date for their use. These gift certificates can be used toward anything in our store, including music lessons!

Do you have a layaway program?

For your convenience Music Showcase offers several layaway options. Choose between a 30, 60, or 90-day layaway payment option. For each option, a down payment of 15-20% of the purchase price is required, and a payment must be made at least once a month. A the end of the layaway period, the entire balance must be paid off in order for the customer to take home the merchandise. Sometimes if we have a customer's credit card number on file, we may allow the customer to take home the band or orchestral instrument.

Do you have an auto-pay service for monthly rentals or music lesson payments?

An auto-pay service is available for instrument rentals, music lessons, and layaway merchandise. In order to enroll in this service, please come by one of our stores to complete a quick auto-pay registration form. All auto-payments are charged on a monthly basis. If you are auto-paying for weekly music lessons, we will automatically charge the total number of weeks in that month at the beginning of each month. All online rentals are automatically enrolled in auto-pay.

What are the qualifications of a music instructor for the School?

At Music Showcase, we strive to provide our students with quality, qualified music teachers. We generally prefer the instructor to have at least a Bachelor's degree in music or presently be in college. We also take careful consideration in hiring only teachers with proven teaching experience and/or music performance. In addition, with all our employees, we check references and previous employment. Because of the variety of our students (all ages and skill levels), we are pleased to offer a diverse staff of instructors to match your needs.

If I rent an instrument, does any of my money go to the instrument if I later decide to buy?

Yes, 100% of the rental payments that you made towards the instrument will be applied to the instrument if you later decide to purchase it.

What happens if I am renting a violin for my growing child and later need a larger violin?

As your child grows, our violins will grow with them. A percentage of your previous violin rental will be carried over as a credit toward a larger violin size.

Is there an advantage to purchasing an instrument early as opposed to continuing the rental?

Yes! You will receive a 30% discount off the unpaid balance and twice a year, you will receive an extra discount.

When can I sign up for music lessons? Are lessons restricted to semesters?

You can sign up for private musical instruction at anytime. There is no semester course, and we offer music lessons throughout the entire year - even during the summer. Our lessons are private so we work with your schedule.

Are your repair technicians qualified and certified?

Yes, our full-time, in-house repair technicians are qualified and NAPBIRT certified for instrumental repair. Feel free to ask questions regarding an instrument repair.

Does Music Showcase have road representatives that go to local schools?

Yes, on a weekly basis, our educational representatives visit schools to serve the teachers and students. We will deliver supplies to the schools for the students as well as for teachers. We will also pick up or drop off repairs. Click here to find your school rep's schedule.

Do you sponsor local groups or advertise for schools, churches, and community functions?

Yes, we try to help as much as possible in supporting and promoting education in our community. We especially support other musical groups and activities.

Will I ever be charged interest on my rental/lease instrument?

No. We will never add interest to your rental or lease.

Are your repair technicians in house full time?

Yes. Our repair technicians are in house at our Brandon store full time. You may speak directly with the technician who will be working on your instrument.

Will my instrument ever leave the premises or be sent to an outside repair center?

All the repair work is done at our Brandon store, even silver plating. Your instrument will never leave the premises.

Can you do warranty repairs for Fender guitars?

Yes. Our luthier Jason Pate is authorized to handle your Fender warranty repair needs. Please call us at 813-685-5998 for information on warranty repair for Fender and other brands.

Do you rent quality instruments made by reputable manufacturers?

Yes. We rent brand name instruments made with quality by the world's best instrument manufacturers. In most cases they are student level instruments, but upgrade instruments are also available. Our brands include Yamaha, Selmer/Bach, Glaesel, Gemeinhardt, King and more. See a list of our rental brands.
